I couldn’t find much information on William J. Hopkins. He wrote several books for children in the early 1900’s, including the Sandman series.
Each of these books are a collection of short, realistic tales about the farm, the sea, and nature.
Hopkins uses the narrative method to provide not only entertainment, but also rich lessons in nature and life to children.
