Howdy Doody was one of the first and most popular children’s television shows of all time.
It ran on the air from 1947-1960.
There were multiple merchandising campaigns for Howdy Doody, including a cartoon, a Sunday comic strip (to which Stan Lee contributed), along with the color comics by Dell.
These comics are now in the public domain- and I have issues 1-3 to share in pdf form!
