How to Draw Birds

This amazing drawing book, first published in 1940, appears to be in the public domain.

A concise course on drawing birds, this book is an excellent resource for artists and nature buffs alike.  The first part of the book introduces the reader to the various bird parts and their forms.  Wings, beaks, heads, etc.

Then the book details some common birds and how to illustrate them.

The illustrations in this book are great for biology, art, nature study, or creating notebooking or lapbooking elements.

My oldest daughter has been practicing drawing bird claws in order to improve her dragon drawings. ;0)
